Every Day is a Work Day

I’ve been telling you how every day I gather my thoughts, I write down what I am thinking or feeling, I write down jokes, I write down everything and anything I can. Well some days, I just don’t have that much to write, or I think of things to write but I am caught up doing my paying job and forget to write things down. I’ve come to find out that every day is a work day, not only is every day a work day, but every hour, every minute is work. However, I wouldn’t really call it work. I would maybe call it brainstorming. Yes, a lot of work does go into making sure my jokes are funny, tweaking and editing, but it doesn’t feel like actual work. I guess that’s what people mean when they say it isn’t work when you’re having fun.

Despite knowing this, there are just some days where I don’t feel funny. I don’t feel like I have as much to write or say and I especially don’t feel like getting up on a stage and trying to make people laugh. If I don’t feel funny, how can I be funny? This doesn’t stop me though, no matter how I feel I am going to keep pushing myself. You never know what is going to make people laugh, and just because I don’t feel funny, doesn’t mean people won’t think I am funny.
